‘It was through my passion for the natural environment and my balanced, healthy approach to life that GET FIT outdoor training was born. It is amongst the indigenous flora and fauna of Table Mountain National Park, a popular destination in the Mother City for runners and walkers alike, where I share with others that training is not only fun, but a necessity for de-stressing, and shouldering the demands of our modern, technological world – 24/7 and 365.

I see fitness as only one of the pillars of all-round wellbeing. My mission, both personal and professional, is to educate my clients on the benefits of sound nutrition, adequate stress management, and a positive mindset. After all, a healthy mind is a robust body. My approach draws upon: my sound knowledge of exercise and fitness management; my ability to encourage and inspire; and a love for seeing others reach their goals.

I believe in diverse and evolving exercise routines, which are guaranteed to alleviate boredom and to ensure continual and steady progress. What’s more, I enjoy connecting with people and sharing in their fitness journey.’

Everyone needs to exercise. But if you find the interiors of a traditional gym overwhelming, confining or just plain dull, why not consider taking your training outside? Here you can lose weight, shape and tone your body, and up your fitness level (and your general wellbeing) by using the resistance of your own body weight and an individually crafted fitness plan – in none other than the Great Outdoors.

GET FIT outdoor training combines trail running/ walking depending on your individual fitness, various bodyweight exercises and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). The magic of HIIT lies in the After Burn Effect – its ability to keep you burning fat after you have finished training.

Every session is different from the next, which keeps clients interested and the training fun. Good news is that the sessions do not grind to a halt come cooler weather. We’re stationed at a sophisticated nearby indoor venue on those stormy Cape days. And still close enough to the mountain that, should the weather change, we’ll head back outside into the sunshine.

Emphasizing employee wellness will help to keep your workforce and human capital healthier and more productive. GET FIT Training, in association with Loren Hilton from Cellsynery Health and Wellness Centre, offers weekday tuition in a holistic health and wellness program, aimed at corporate groups.

The package consists of:
Four events, each 1 hour in duration, 1 per week.

Diet and nutrition
Managing mental and emotional stress
Exercise and activity
Financial planning and social integration

Additional Electives (such as Food choices, Detoxification, Inflammation and chronic disease and Women’s health) tailored to meet the needs of your organisation.

Body Composition Assessments


Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis or Bioimpedance Analysis (BIA) is a method of assessing your body composition, which is the measurement of body fat in relation to lean body mass. It is an integral part of a health and nutrition assessment.

Karnak individual scan

The Karnak Sensor is a cerebral scan that, via frequency readings, detects energy levels in your body and can access organ health. For more info please go to www.karnak2000.com. The scan is done by Loren Hilton, the Karnak representative and trainer in South Africa.
